Recap of the 4th Annual ACR Banquet in Brooklyn

On April 21, the Association for the Children of Regnier Haiti Inc. (ACR) hosted its fourth annual banquet in Brooklyn at 2625 Bedford Ave, bringing together many volunteer performers like Christian Life Devotion Children Orchestra which played the following selections: Amazing Grace, Paladio, and O the Deep Deep Deep Love of Jesus. It was amazing to see how talented these children were. And what was touching to me the most was children embracing other children’s cause, even though they have ever met.

We also had Freedom Chapel Praise Dance Ministry (Angelia Diaz-Marte, Jessica Laguerre, Khrity Laguerre, Angela Daniels, Barbara S. Cesse and Justin Mills) who presented two dances: “Bigger” by Jacklyn Carr and  “Revelation” by Kary Jobe. For the past two years, the well known Haitian gospel singer Pierre Limage has been supporting our children but this year was exceptional he invited gospel singer Marco Nicholas to join the cause. Gladys Pierre with “The Impossible Dream” and finally Hilary Harris with Beyonce’s “Halo.” On that evening, everything was perfect from the décor and food to the entertainment.

The Renaissance Home Health Care was packed with nearly 200 people including ACR supporters and members. The program led with Pierre Limage, followed by the Children Orchestra, Freedom Chapel Praise Dance Ministry, Gladys Pierre, Hillary Harris, and closed by Marco Nicholas. Many long time ACR supporters who always love our annual banquet said this one was the best! I give all the glory to God and I also want to thank our ACR supporters for assisting us during many difficult times. I cannot thank enough the ACR team who worked tirelessly to put on this beautiful event together.

Love you all!

Maryse Cadet, ACR President and Founder
